Children's Services Short Break Scheme

We need people like you to spend time with disabled children and involve them in everyday activities at your home or in your community.

Short break carers offer care and support to children and young people in their own homes for 2,3 nights a month, therefore you will need to undertake a fostering assessment.

The service is flexible according to the needs of the child and his/her family and carers.

Training and support are provided. You will also receive an allowance.
